Postponed Until 2021

June 8, 2020

Dear Tin Cup Supporter,

I am thinking of everyone in our Tin Cup family and hope you and your loved ones are doing what you can to stay healthy.

I know how passionate you are about the Tin Cup Tournament and the American Cancer Society. Look at what we have accomplished over the last 18 years:

• Donated over $250,000 to the American Cancer Society

• Provided countless support baskets to patients and families

• Engaged over 3,750+ participant players from 11 different states

Without the hard work and selfless generosity of our volunteers, sponsors and players, this would not have been possible. A special thank you to Liberty Mutual Insurance for being our Key Sponsor over the last few years.

The COVID-19 crisis remains uncertain and fluid. Based on North Carolina’s current guidelines and out of an abundance of caution, I have made the incredibly difficult decision to cancel the Tin Cup Tournament this year. The safety of our participants, volunteers and sponsors always comes first.

Our goal is to raise money to benefit the American Cancer Society assisting in cancer research, education and patient support programs. The American Cancer Society remains available to provide information, support and guidance to patients and families 24 hours a day, seven days a week via helpline, 1-800-227-2345, and website, cancer.org.

Again, The Tin Cup Tournament is possible only through the phenomenal support of all of you!

I look forward seeing you next year and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at 704-846-8210.

Sincerely,

Bernie Dilisio
